Last updated: 17 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mateja Ravnikar Coaching (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website, sign up for our mailing list, download a resource, book a call, or purchase a program. We are committed to handling your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Slovenian data protection law.

Data controller:
- Mateja Ravnikar Coaching
- Cesta v Rastke 60, 3333 Ljubno ob Savinji, Slovenia
- Contact: [email protected]
If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, you can contact us using the details above.
2. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data depending on how you interact with us:
- Contact details: name, email address, and (if provided) phone number, when you fill in a form, subscribe to our list, book a call, or make a purchase.
- Booking information: details you provide when scheduling a call via TidyCal, including the date/time selected and any notes you add.
- Call and session data: if you join a Zoom call with us, your name and email associated with the meeting, and any information shared during the conversation.
- Purchase and billing information: when you buy a program through our site, Kajabi (our platform provider) processes your payment and billing details. We receive confirmation of your purchase, your contact details, and transaction history, but we do not directly store full payment card details.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and website usage data, collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies (see our separate Cookie Notice).
- Engagement data: how you interact with our emails (opens, clicks) and website content, used to understand interest and improve our communication.
3. How and Why We Use Your Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes, and on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:
- To deliver a requested resource or lead magnet (e.g. the Compass Check-In) — legal basis: consent / performance of a contract you requested.
- To send you marketing emails about our coaching programs, content, and offers — legal basis: consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- To schedule and conduct discovery calls or coaching sessions via TidyCal and Zoom — legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To process purchases of our programs and manage your account — legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To comply with legal and accounting obligations (e.g. invoicing, tax records) — legal basis: legal obligation.
- To maintain and improve our website and services — legal basis: legitimate interest, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
4. How We Collect Consent for Email Marketing
Where we rely on consent (such as for email marketing), we ask you to actively confirm this — for example, by ticking an unchecked box or clicking a clearly labelled button. We do not pre-tick consent boxes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email or by contacting us directly. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, under appropriate data processing agreements:
- Kajabi — our website, course hosting, email marketing, and payment platform.
- TidyCal — our scheduling tool for booking calls.
- Zoom — our video conferencing platform for calls and sessions.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the provider’s certification under an approved data transfer framework, as required by GDPR Chapter V.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until you have been inactive for an extended period, after which we will review and may delete it.
- Purchase and billing records are kept for the period required by Slovenian tax and accounting law (generally up to 10 years).
- Call and booking data is kept only as long as needed to deliver the service, and is then deleted or anonymised.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal retention obligations.
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Data portability, where technically feasible.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), or your local supervisory authority if you live elsewhere in the EU.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address listed in Section 1. We will respond within one month, as required by GDPR.
8. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Full details, including what cookies we use and how to manage your preferences, are set out in our separate Cookie Notice.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including relying on the security measures provided by our platform providers (Kajabi, TidyCal, Zoom). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16.
